THE FOOD: Spare Ribs Recipes

BBQ Ribs in Crockpot
3 to 4 lbs. boneless spare ribs
1 onion, sliced
1 (16 oz.) Blt smoke BBQ sauce

Sprinkle ribs with salt and pepper. Place ribs under broiler pan for 30 minutes to brown and remove excess fat. Put sliced onion in crock pot. Slice ribs into serving pieces and put in crock pot. Pour in BBQ sauce. Cover and cook on low 7 to 9 hours or high 3 to 4 hours.


Non-Traditional Stroganoff (makes 4 servings)
2 Boneless Spareribs Diced
1 Small Onion
1 1/2 Cups Sliced Mushrooms
2 Cloves of Garlic
2 Tbsp of Flour
2 Cups Milk

Brown Spareribs with onion, mushrooms, garlic, and butter. Salt and Pepper to taste. Stir in flour and break up lumps. Add milk and cook, stirring frequently until thickened. Serve over brown rice.
