With Crossroads Urban Center's encouragment the Salt Lake Community Action Program has posted on the Internet a food stamp calculator. The calculator was created by staff at Crossroads and CAP to educate people of their potential eligibility for the Food Stamp Program and, thus, encourage them to apply.
By clicking on the link below, you will enter into Salt Lake Community Action Program's web site. At their web site, you will be able to use the calculator, be informed of your basic rights with the Food Stamp Program, and be able to link to a listing of food stamp offices.

The original version of this food stamp calculator was not web-based, Crossroads has been distributing it to food pantries throughout the state. This calculator requires a newer version of Microsoft Excel to run and is still available upon request, contact Bill Tibbits at Crossroads. We hope that both of these calculators will be actively used to encourage more eligible households to apply for food stamps.
