Advocacy

Our mission of meeting people's immediate basic needs goes hand in hand with Crossroads Urban Center's mission to address and change the forces that keep people poor.

Today, Crossroads supports and runs advocacy projects that address issues such as affordable housing, utility rates, and access to food stamp benefits. Crossroads provides education and information to local, state and federal officials on issues that directly impact low income people, the disabled and people of color in Utah. Working with people who face these issues daily, as well as advocating on their behalf, is at the heart of our work.
