slogan

Crossroads Urban Center helps low-income people in Salt Lake City and throughout Utah.  We operate one of the busiest emergency food pantries in the state, and a free/low-cost thrift store.  Beyond direct service, we also address the root causes of poverty through community organizing and advocacy.

We're a nonprofit, grassroots organization that assists and organizes low income, disabled, and minority Utahns to meet basic survival needs and address essential issues affecting their quality of life.  We try to provide relief and hope to people who often don't have anywhere else to turn.  And we can't do it without you.  Explore our site and learn how you can help us help others!

Thank you everyone!

We would like to thank the over 120 people who showed up, ate sausage, drank a tasty beverage, and supported Crossroads Urban Center at the Beer, Brats and Blues fundraiser on Sunday, April 29.  We would especially like to thank Epic Brewing CompanyColosimo's, and Stoneground Bakery for donating the food and United Souls and Carole Turcotte & Friends (including the fabulous Ric Romero) for providing musical entertainment. Please support these fine local businesses and local musicians!

Food of the Month for May

Food of the month: Once again - milk and juice, any kind, any size. Would anyone out there be interested in doing a 'Drink Drive'? We continue struggling to keep liquids on the shelf.

Thrift store items: Summer clothes and any type men’s clothing. Hey guys, how about cleaning out your drawers and closets?

Misc. item: Bags for food orders. While paper and plastic are great we are especially looking for reusable tote bags. Look around and see if you have any from conferences that you will never use again. Ask your friends and coworkers too!
